General rules

Keys and cards

If keys, passes, etc. are lost, charges will be levied. (in the case of keys, this will be €115.00). It is not allowed to give keys and/or passes to others.

Upon departure, all keys and passes received by guests for the purpose of their stay must be handed in at reception.

 

Damage

A guest is liable for damage(s), whether intentional or not, caused by him to the property of third parties and/or the park. A guest is obliged to cooperate in the settlement of damage(s).

If any damage has occurred in, around or to the property or its inventory, please report it immediately to the park reception.

The park (Strand Resort Nieuwvliet-Bad B.V.) accepts no liability for damage(s) to or theft of belongings or property of a user.

 

Park facilities

It is not allowed to use the playgrounds other than for play. Football and other ball games are allowed only in the designated areas. Use of the facilities in the park is at your own risk.

 

Drones

The use of drones on and above the park is not allowed, other than with the express permission of the Park Management. The privacy and tranquillity of all guests must be respected. Use of a drone on or above our park may result in a fine and/or confiscation of the drone as a government sanction.

 

Lost/found property

Lost property should be handed in at reception. At the request of a guest who has already left, the found object may be returned to him or her at his or her expense and risk (cash on delivery). The park is never liable for any damage to the found object.

If the owner of a found object does not report within one month of the issue of the found object, he or she is deemed to have relinquished possession of it.

 

It is forbidden to:

  • delivering door-to-door advertising.
  • sell business (door-to-door) on the park.
  • offer services or hold a private or public auction.
  • holding or discharging oil, oily water or chemicals;
  • undertake (or have undertaken) other environmentally polluting activities.
  • setting off fireworks. Guests will abide by the agreements regarding keeping the park fireworks free during the turn of the year.
  • alcohol to be consumed outside the plot belonging to the residence and/or outside catering establishments.
  • to use, possess or trade nitrous oxide.
  • under the current Opium Act to possess and/or use drugs. This therefore also applies at the park. Drug use entails risks for the user and his or her environment
  • possess fire, stabbing or other types of weapons.

Removal from the park/denial of access

All guests must strictly comply with the rules and regulations set out in the park regulations and follow instructions given by the Park Management, in whatever form and in whatever connection. This also applies to the rules governing the use of facilities in the park.

 

Violation of these regulations and rules, as well as failure to comply with Park Management instructions may result in removal from the park, without entitling the guest to a full or partial refund of the (rent) sums paid or still to be paid, without prejudice to the right to claim compensation from the guest for the damage caused by the violation.

 

As a general rule, a warning will be issued first. In urgent cases, at the Park Management's discretion, this can be waived and immediate removal from the park will take place. The Park Management reserves the right to charge an additional deposit in the event of a (first) warning.

Unforeseen cases

In cases not regulated in these park regulations, the Park Management will decide.
