Parking and vehicles
Parking
In general, one car per property is allowed for 4-bed properties(two cars from 6-bed properties), unless otherwise specified. Visitors' cars will not be allowed. The Park Management reserves the right to change the parking policy.
Parking will be in designated areas, i.e. not in gardens or on lawns.
If these parking rules are violated, the Park Management reserves the right to remove the vehicle (or have it removed). The costs thereof will be borne by the guest concerned.
Vehicles should use only the roads provided for this purpose in the park. Vehicles are not allowed on footpaths.
Electric vehicles
Guests are not allowed to charge electric vehicles at the property. Recharging is only allowed at the designated charging stations opposite the swimming pool, as well as the
parking spaces opposite the 500-series houses. For more detail, please also refer to the park map or the information sheet available from reception.
Where the charging of electric vehicles in or at a dwelling is established, the simple establishment of this is sufficient to charge the guest a fee of €75 per establishment.
Traffic
The guest is obliged to immediately follow all traffic and safety regulations and the Park Management's instructions.
It is not permitted to erect obstructions on or in the common parts and private parts or to park or place vehicles, trailers and other objects in such a way that, in the opinion of the Park Management and/or the relevant authority/authorities, this obstructs the free and unobstructed passage for ambulance, fire brigade, suppliers and the other users of the park.
Vehicles heavier than 3.5 tonnes (loaded condition) are not allowed on the park unless approved by the Park Management.
In addition, the traffic rules laid down by Dutch law shall apply in the park, unless otherwise provided in these regulations. It should be noted that the legally recognised (traffic) police have no authority in the park. However, in the event of traffic accidents in the park, the Park Management and/or expert advisor(s) acting on its instructions shall form the basis for determining the perpetrator(s). Park management and/or Strand Resort Nieuwvliet-Bad B.V. can never be held liable for any damage/suffering etc. resulting from accidents and/or their settlement.
Any damage resulting from non-compliance with the traffic rules in force in the park will - as far as possible - be recovered from the party responsible and/or the party (legally) responsible for that party. If the party causing the damage remains in default of acknowledgement and/or payment, or cannot be traced, Strand Resort Nieuwvliet-Bad B.V. and/or the rental organisation cannot be held liable.
Notwithstanding legal traffic regulations, the speed limit on the park for all vehicles is 15 km per hour, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Only destination traffic is allowed. Pedestrians, cyclists and (playing) children always have the right of way.
It is forbidden to use scooters and mopeds in the park, other than as destination traffic via the shortest route from the main entrance to the residence and vice versa. Electric scooters and/or other electrically powered means of transport (with the exception of cars and/or mobility scooters) are not allowed in the park. In special cases, at the discretion of Park Management, exemption from this prohibition may be granted. This exemption will only be valid if it is in writing.
