Traffic

It is not allowed to erect obstacles on the resort or place vehicles, trailers and other objects in such a way as to obstruct the free passage of emergency services, suppliers and other guests of the resort.

Vehicles heavier than 3.5 tonnes (loaded condition) are not allowed on the resort.

The traffic regulations of Dutch law apply at the resort, unless otherwise provided in these regulations. The Park Management cannot be held liable for any damage/suffering arising from accidents and/or their handling.

Any damage resulting from failure to comply with the traffic regulations in force at the resort will be recovered as far as possible from the party responsible. If the party responsible is in default of acknowledgement of debt and/or payment, or cannot be traced, Strand Resort Nieuwvliet Bad and/or the rental organisation cannot be held liable.

Notwithstanding legal traffic regulations, the speed limit on the resort for all vehicles is 15 km per hour, unless otherwise indicated. Only local traffic is permitted. Pedestrians, cyclists and (playing) children always have the right of way.

It is prohibited to use scooters and mopeds on the resort, other than as destination traffic via the shortest route from the main entrance to the residence and vice versa. Electric scooters and/or other electrically propelled means of transport (with the exception of cars and/or mobility scooters) are not permitted. In special cases, an exemption may be granted from this prohibition. This exemption will only be valid if it is in writing.
